Landezine is calling professionals from the field of landscape architecture to submit entries for the second edition of LILA – Landezine International Landscape Award by May 26th, 2017.

AWARD CATEGORIES
After a very successful first edition of LILA in 2016 Landezine team is thrilled to announce two new categories. Beside the established award for offices, designers are now able to submit also up to two projects in the “Project” category. Manufacturers of urban equipment can send up to 3 products for sitting in the “Product” category.
Office category: jury award + popular choice award
LILA is looking for offices practicing landscape architecture for it’s design approach to landscape. We seek experiment, innovation, design excellence and relevant solutions to the environmental and social issues.
Your submitted profile will be published on LILA website. The profile submission must comprise office philosophy text and 3-5 projects. At least one of the projects must be built.
Project category: jury award + popular choice award
This year we will explore progressive approaches to the design of urban spaces, regardless of its scale. We seek urban interventions that not only function well as social interfaces and environmental infrastructure but also emphasise the experience of the urban with all the local particularities. Each office can submit up to 2 entries in Project category.
Product category: popular choice award
Manufacturers of urban equipment can submit up to 3 realized products. We seek public benches, chairs and similar elements for sitting that can be easily implemented in a wide range of urban landscapes.

early June – longlist announced and voting begins
late August – shortlists announced
